While travelling in the UK

While you are travelling within the UK, we are available over the phone, via askmyGP (including  via email), or by attending one of our practices in person.

We know that some patients’ lifestyles include frequent travel throughout the UK and are as flexible as possible to accommodate this, especially if you are struggling with internet access or phone signal.

We recognise the importance of accessing prescriptions when you need them. We can send your prescriptions to any pharmacy you nominate within England only.

If you know you will be travelling to any other country within the UK for an extended period (i.e. Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales), then we may in exceptional circumstances be able to supply you with up to three months’ supply of your regular medication. If you normally pay for your prescriptions, you will be required to pay accordingly. Please contact the practice to discuss this. 

If you travel regularly, please remember to tell us each time where you’d like your prescriptions to be sent to.
