Information about the proposed new building for Staploe Medical Centre

Below is a timeline of all of the information we have published about the proposed new building.
We will keep this updated as the project develops.

Aug 2024

• Planning permission for the new medical centre was granted! Planning decision is here.

• Outline Planning Permission was also granted for Soham Eastern Gateway (SEG), subject to the s106 agreement. This is important, because the land for the new medical centre (which is within the SEG) cannot be offered to us until Outline Planning Permission for SEG has been granted.

Feb 2024

• Planning application is now live Planning Ref 24/00146/FUM on East Cambs Planning Portal. Register or log in to submit a Public Comment – 20 Feb 2024

• Community Events Schedule – Feb to Apr 2024 – 20 Feb 2024. Come along and take a look at the plans, and give us your feedback!

• Announcement of intention to submit planning application – 20 Dec 2023
