The Patient Group is for all 16+ patients of Mereside Medical practices to work with us. Read our Charter to learn how it works.
Who can join?
If you are 16 or older and registered as a patient at one of our three practices, you are part of the patient group.
Meetings and feedback
- The practices will have at least four patient group meetings each year. One of these will be the yearly meeting where the patient charter is reviewed.
- Meetings will usually be by video call, unless an in person meeting makes more sense.
- Meetings will be advertised at the practices, on the website and on social media.
- At meetings, the practices can tell patients about the services they have now and any new services. Patients can give their thoughts and opinions on the current services and the new ones.
- The Practices may also ask for feedback through surveys online or at the practices. They may send text messages asking patients to do surveys.
- If many patients ask for it, the practices can hold extra meetings, do extra surveys or give more information about specific topics.
- You don’t have to attend meetings or give feedback if you don’t want to.
What patients agree to:

- Share good feedback and any concerns, to help make things better.
- Listen to other patients and share common themes at meetings.
- Tell other patients about practice policies or websites if you can.
